3 things to do in (and around ) Lake Worth this weekend

Central Intelligence

Central Intelligence: Sunday is Father’s Day, so if your pops loves The Rock or Kevin Hart, you’re in luck because the big muscular guy is starring in a movie with the short funny guy. The Rock plays Bob Stone, a lethal CIA agent who needs help from Calvin Joyner (Hart), a fast-talking accountant, to help him solve a compromised U.S. spy satellite system. What can go wrong? Everything, of course. The film opens Friday.

string quartet

Classical music: Do you like classical music? OK, I’ll ask again. Do you like free classical music? Got your attention now, right? Well, a string quartet is playing Saturday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, 601 Lake Avenue. For more information, visit www.PalmBeachCulture.com.

Evening on the Avenue sign

Evening on the Avenue: Music, food, fun. Cultural Plaza, 6 to 10 p.m., Friday. ‘Nuff said.
