LAKE WORTH — Rain may have deluged Palm Beach County Tuesday and led to flooding in some areas, but Lake Worth made out OK.

The city didn’t report any significant flooding problems, according to Ben Kerr, a city spokesman.

“There was some minor pooling, but this is to be expected,” he said. “Recent upgrades such as check valves have made a difference.”

Kerr said there were only minimal power outages that were cleared within one hour. Only one outage lasted longer than 60 minutes, he added.

“This bodes well for hurricane season,” Kerr said.
