LAKE WORTH — The firefighters at Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Station 91 have some serious bragging rights.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue named the Lucerne Avenue location Station of the Year this morning at the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches‘ breakfast meeting at the Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

Fire Rescue cited two acts for its selection — the daring rescue of a man and his two dogs after a house fire and station workers raising $5,500 to send North Grade Elementary fourth graders on a class trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
