LAKE WORTH — City commissioners on Thursday are scheduled to have a work session at 6 p.m. on how to fix the troubled Lake Worth Casino ballroom. The meeting will be held at the ballroom.

The city has flirted with suing all parties involved with the project because of numerous structural problems with the building. By a 3-1 vote at the June 7 meeting, the commission gave REG Architects and The Morganti Group until Oct. 6 to fix the building and if they didn’t, City Attorney Glen Torcivia recommended the commission should file a lawsuit, finding the companies in default of their contracts.

Representatives for REG and The Morganti Group are expected to make presentations on their solutions for fixing the leaks.
