3 fun things to do in Lake Worth this weekend
Screen on the Green, the city’s free outdoor movie series starts Friday at the Cultural Plaza with “Goosebumps.” There will be music, food, arts and craft. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m., with the movie beginning about 8 p.m. So, spread out your blanket, pop open that lawn chair, get some popcorn and enjoy a free movie!
The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County pays tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, the late jazz great on Saturday. Yvette Norwood-Tiger croons the songs with her jazz ensemble. April and the Extraordinary World: An animated film released earlier this year about a teen and her talking cat looking for her missing parents in 1941 Paris. This film is playing at the Stonzek Theater, 713 Lake Avenue, Friday through Thursday. Check out the trailer here.
