3 fun things to do this weekend in Lake Worth

mangoes 3Lake Worth International Mango Festival: On Saturday, the city will host the festival for the first time. The free event will be held at the Cultural Plaza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and celebrate all things mango. Look for mango cuisine, mango products, mango beverages and even a mango painting class. Live music is also on tap. There will also be a class on mango education that will show people who are allergic to mangos how they still can enjoy them. More than 30 vendors are expected to showcase their mango products.

Lake Worth Sidewalk Sale: After you finish gathering all your mangos, go look for some goodies you can buy on the cheap in downtown. Sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Leather Works of Jamie WalkerThe Leather Works Of Jamie Walker: No, it’s not an adult film. It’s actually an art exhibition playing tonight at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery on South J Street. Walker, a leather artist, has wowed crowds with everything from belts to shoes. The exhibit runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
