Time to get your vegetation trash together in Lake Worth

Vegetation Amnesty WeekLAKE WORTH — Starting May 23, the city have Vegetation Amnesty Week where Lake Worth’s refuse division will pick up large amounts of vegetation trash before hurricane season starts June 1.

The trash is not to exceed 12 cubic yards per residential property. The city is asking residents to place all vegetation curbside on your regularly scheduled day.

Vegetation includes bagged leaves, grasses, tree or shrubbery cuttings and tree branches less than 2 inches in diameter, branches and palm fronds less than 4 feet in length and stumps less than 15-inches in diameter or less than 50 pounds.

The vegetation will be picked up on the following days: Zone 1: May 23; Zone 2: May 26; Zone 3: May 27; Zone 4: May 24.
