Could this be the final cut for Lake Worth barber?

LAKE WORTH — After giving countless haircuts on Lucerne Avenue at Cain’s Barbershop for more than 50 years, Malcolm Cain could be out of business soon.

This past September, 506 Lucerne Avenue was bought for $350,000 by Peters 506 Lucerne LLC, the same company that also recently purchased the old South Shore Tavern and Patio Bar site next door.

Word is Cain’s lease is up in May and that he’s getting the boot.

Look for my interview with then 80-year-old Cain in the coming days.
